Acoustic warning function to facilitate parking. The easily fitted parking distance warning system facilitates reverse parking, thus minimising the risk of unattractive bumper damage. When you select reverse gear, an audible signal indicates that it is ready for operation. The intervals between the acoustic warnings get shorter as the vehicle approaches an obstacle. The parking distance warning system is controlled by microprocessors and is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged. The sensors can be painted over and can therefore be incorporated harmoniously and discreetly into the vehicle's overall look. The parking distance warning system features an intelligent setup function. This avoids fixed towing hitches, for example, being incorrectly identified as obstacles.
