This is for Left hand drive (non UK) models only (Click the link for a diagram explaining Left and Right hand drive)

These bonnet release cables are in 2 sections. The REAR section goes from the handle inside the car to a joiner in the engine bay. The FRONT section goes from the joiner in the engine bay to the bonnet latch mechansim.
